“Free website” shouldn’t mean discovering the catch halfway through the process. Here are the important bits upfront, in plain English.
Your Domain Belongs to You
Your business domain is yours. WebCoZa can help register and manage it for you, but you remain the customer behind the domain.
Typical domain cost: approximately R60–R120 per year.
12-Month Initial Hosting Term
The R0 website design is provided as part of your WebCoZa hosting arrangement. The initial hosting period is 12 months at R200 per month.
After the first 12 months, hosting continues month-to-month.
Clear Cancellation Terms
The standard package has an initial 12-month hosting term. After that, hosting continues month-to-month and may be cancelled with 30 days’ written notice.
Where applicable South African law gives you additional or earlier cancellation rights, those rights still apply.
Two Revision Rounds Included
You’ll have an opportunity to review your website before launch. Two reasonable rounds of revisions are included with the standard five-page website.
Major redesigns, extra pages or new functionality are quoted separately.
Your Business Content Remains Yours
Your original business text, photographs, logos and other material supplied by you remain your content.
Please make sure you have permission to use any material you provide to us.
You Aren’t Trapped Forever
If you later decide to move your website elsewhere, WebCoZa can provide the appropriate website backup or migration files once your account is fully settled.
Third-party premium software or licences supplied through WebCoZa do not automatically transfer and may need to be purchased separately.
