OUR WORK

Real Websites for Real Businesses

A portfolio should show more than attractive screenshots. The useful question is what the website needed to do, why it was built that way and how the different parts support the business behind it.

These WebCoZa projects cover very different challenges — from specialist ecommerce and health information to a long-running South African directory and an international fishing content platform.

SELECTED PROJECTS

Different Businesses Need Different Websites

A probiotic brand, a wellness directory, a specialist nail store and a bass-fishing website have completely different customers, content and commercial goals. Their websites should not look or behave as though they came out of the same box.

Each case study explains the business challenge, what WebCoZa worked on and why particular decisions were made.

SELECTED PROJECTS

Different Businesses Need Different Websites

An online shop, specialist information site and health business should not all be squeezed into the same template. The website needs to fit the job.

Ecommerce Websites

Content Websites

EXPERIENCE COUNTS

Websites Have Changed Quite a Bit Since We Started

WebCoZa’s experience with websites goes back to 1995. The technology has changed enormously since then, but the basic job remains surprisingly familiar: help a business communicate clearly and make it easy for the customer to take the next step.

Today’s websites are faster, mobile, searchable, connected to ecommerce, email, analytics and all manner of clever machinery. The machinery is useful. It just shouldn’t become the entire point of the website.

YOUR WEBSITE DOESN’T HAVE TO BE THIS BIG

Most Small Businesses Can Start Much More Simply

Some of the examples above are substantial websites built up over time. That doesn’t mean your first business website needs hundreds of pages.

If you mainly need a professional presence explaining who you are, what you do and how customers can contact you, WebCoZa’s five-page website may be enough.
